The meeting is for students, researchers, and professionals of disciplines such as primary education, educational sciences, and human and social sciences. Two anthropologists, two educationalists, a teacher involved with听Roma families,听and a young Roma artist will discuss the book 鈥淒es gamins roms hors-de-l鈥檈nfance. Entre protection et exclusion鈥 (About Roma children outside childhood. Between protection and exclusion) by Alice Sophie Sarcinelli. The debate will be on two complementary elements core to the book: the institutional treatment of听children听categorized as听Roma听(the result of local, national, and European policies) and the everyday experience of children and their families.
